Are you and your spouse looking for a way to manage your divorce reasonably and fairly without the stress and expense of warring lawyers? Agreement Resources, LLC has experienced divorce mediators who are conflict resolution professionals – not attorneys. We are approved to receive referrals from the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts (Middlesex, Norfolk and Suffolk Divisions) to provide mediation services to couples who want to create their own divorce agreement.
Mediation is a process that can be customized to meet your goals, your schedule, and your budget. Our mediators offer worksheets and tools that can help you to do as much of the work as you wish on your own, saving you time and money while offering you structure and support as needed in our sessions. For topics that seem too difficult to discuss on your own, our mediators create a safe space where you and your spouse can talk. We help each of you to be heard and understood, clarify what is most important to you, and identify options and craft agreements that are comfortable for both of you. We also help you identify areas where you may need more information to make an informed decision. Working with mediators who understand what you are going through, you will be certain that your divorce process will be managed in a way that is respectful and well-considered.
Any agreement you reach will be your agreement – not imposed on you by others. While some couples choose to file for divorce without any legal assistance or advice, we always encourage our clients to have an attorney review their agreements before presenting them to the court for approval.
And remember, mediation is voluntary. Neither spouse is required to participate, so our clients are a self-selected group of thoughtful and motivated people who understand the importance of working things out in a reasoned and informed way.
When you work with us, you will be provided with two mediators, a man and a woman (or same sex mediators for same sex couples) to enhance the atmosphere of neutrality in all conversations. And when you work with our mediators, you can be comfortable knowing that your confidentiality is protected by Massachusetts law.
Couples with children are especially aware of the value of mediation as they work together to provide the best possible future for their children. In mediation, we help couples with children separate their spousal roles, which are ending, from their parenting roles, which will continue.
Maybe you’re not sure you want to divorce. Agreement Resources, LLC mediators can help you craft the most appropriate solution for your particular situation. Our services include divorce, post divorce, separation, and marital mediation, so wherever you are in the process, we can help.
