Firm Profile

With over ninety years of combined experience in the area of Family Law, the members of Alfonso, Levine, Spilka & Schwartz are sensitive to our clients' needs. Our attorneys travel throughout New Jersey's twenty-one counties providing the highest quality legal representation.

Our attorneys specialize in all areas of Family Law. Members of our firm have been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court for our expertise and have been certified as Matrimonial Law Attorneys. We have been selected by Judges to serve as Guardians Ad Litem in contested matrimonial cases, as well as Arbitrators. In addition, we offer mediation services with our attorneys who are qualified and trained, in accordance with the requirements governing the Courts of New Jersey. All of the members of our law firm have been vetted and selected to serve as panelists on the Early Settlement Panel, as well as Blue Ribbon Panelists (for highly complex cases) to assist the Court in resolving contested divorce cases.

We assist our clients in handling any number of legal issues involving families. These include children (issues of custody, parenting time, child support, college expenses and relocation out-of-state); divorce (alimony and other forms of support, distribution of assets and debts, evaluations of businesses and real property); as well as prenuptial agreements, stepparent adoptions, name changes, domestic violence matters and domestic partnerships.

We take the time to attend seminars, conferences and continuing legal education programs on a regular basis to keep abreast of the ever changing status of Family Law. All of our attorneys volunteer a substantial amount of time to provide legal assistance at clinics and community service organizations.

We also maintain professional relationships with experts in the fields of accounting, business evaluation, real estate appraisals, child and adolescent psychology and related areas. These relationships allow us to provide our clients with a comprehensive resolution to their matrimonial matters.
