Can One Party Change Agreement or Stop Divorce?

Question of the Day:

Once the divorce has been filed and stamped with a case number by the court, can either of the parties involved change what is in the agreement or stop the divorce in anyway? – Lino

Answer:

Lino: The agreement can only be changed by both parties. However, the party filing the divorce can stop the it by dismissing or withdrawing the Complaint, unless the other party has filed a Countercomplaint.
