- You make the decisions – not the judge
- Low stress
- Low cost
- Maintains privacy
- No court appearances
In mediation with mediator/attorney B. Daniel Lynch, you and your spouse participate in a series of private mediation sessions in a calm and productive atmosphere. Avoiding the courtroom battles between lawyers that characterize divorce litigation, you work together through mediation to achieve a reasonable settlement that the whole family can live with. If there are children of the marriage, their interests are carefully considered. No one is required to appear in court at any time. A Marital Settlement Agreement is prepared, signed with a notary, and filed as part of the Judgment. The Agreement resolves all issues, including:
- Division of pensions, real estate, and other property
- Child support
- Co-parenting plan (custody and visitation)
- Spousal support
- Division of debt
If you or your spouse cannot attend in person, some of the mediation sessions can be conducted by telephone.
Other Services: Child Support, Spousal Support, Child Custody and Visitation, QDRO’s, Marital Settlement Agreements, Pre-nuptial Agreements, Post-nuptial Agreements, Court Appearances, Full Representation, Limited Scope Representation
