Approach to Mediation
Mediation is a sane and rationale approach to problem solving. The mediator, working as an impartial facilitator, assists the parties in defining issues, gathering facts, and developing options aimed at creating satisfactory settlements. While mainly facilitative, the mediator’s approach is flexible and may use other mediation processes to help the parties in reaching a solution.

Boskey ADR Practitioner of the Year Award in recognition of “...achievements in informing and educating the public about alternative and complementary dispute resolution techniques; encouraging and promoting reform and modernization of our legal system; improving the relationship between the legal profession and the general public; exemplifying the goals and purposes of the Dispute Resolution Section...” and for “service to the residents of the State of New Jersey.”

Fees
Ms. Goldsamt provides initial telephone conferences at no charge for interested parties and/or attorneys to discuss how various conflict resolution processes work and can be useful to them. Hourly rates, consultation fees, and retainer will be discussed and determined based on the requirements of your case.

Co-mediation with an accountant and/or a therapeutic mediator is available. Offices conveniently located in Hackensack (Bergen County) and Verona (Essex County) serving Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Morris, Sussex, Union, Hudson and Middlesex Counties.
