Alternative Dispute Resolution
There is no such thing as a typical divorce. For each client, this is his or her personal life-changing event.
Some people cannot avoid a divorce trial. However, if you wish to take advantage of a less litigious, more peaceful method of dispute resolution, please inquire about the use of mediation or collaborative law practices. I am trained in using alternative dispute resolution methods to assist clients who wish to keep things as amiable (and least expensive) as possible.

Her goal is to assist clients during difficult personal times to resolve their issues with as little stress and conflict as possible. She believes in promptly returning telephone calls and offering clients ethical, responsible, and competent legal services. She is Âhands-on with all of her clients and does not delegate responsibility for a file to others. All questions and concerns are answered as completely and quickly as possible.
Ms. Calinda is past chair of the Ocean County Bar Association Family Law Committee and has served as an Early Settlement Panelist since 1985. She is a Rule 1:40 Economic Mediator and also volunteers her time to speak at the mandatory Parent Education Classes run by the Courts.
She is a Past President of the Ocean County Bar Association, as well as Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services. She has also served four terms on the District III Fee Arbitration Committee and one term on the District III Ethics Committee.
