Some words from Cindy Sackrin:
We know this is a very emotional time for you, but it is very important that you provide us with all documents requested, so that we may properly represent you. It is absolutely necessary for you to provide us with all of the facts concerning your case. Withholding information from your lawyer may affect the outcome of your case, so we advise you to be completely candid with us. Remember that a confidential relationship exists between an attorney and client.
Please be advised that, though we will counsel and advise you throughout the entire proceedings, the final decisions regarding the outcome of your case must be made by you. It has been our experience that most legal matters are settled and the parties eventually reach an amicable agreement through their attorneys that is then placed on the court's record. Read all materials carefully! You must consent to an agreement voluntarily after consulting with your attorney. It is extremely difficult to change an agreement once it is settled. Remember, your signature on an agreement means that you completely understand and agree to the terms therein.
Finally, as your legal representatives, we are here to advise and inform you, cite the options and alternatives available to you, process your case, assist you in decision-making, and cooperate with you in attempting to obtain the best possible result on your behalf.

I am a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, J.D. 1984, with an undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. From 1985 to 1992, I served as a senior attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the Dade County Bar Association, dedicated to services to the indigent. From 1992 to 1995, I was in private practice serving in both Dade and Broward Counties. Since 1995, I have been a sole practitioner with a busy practice consisting primarily of matrimonial and family law in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. I have been Board Certified in Marital and Family Law since 1993. I have served as a Guardian ad Litem in custody cases in Miami-Dade County, and I am a recipient of an award for pro bono services in connection with the Miami-Dade County "Put Something Back Program." I am married to Alan D. Sackrin, a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney.
