Diana Blair has been practicing law in Colorado since 1982. While she’s had experience in several areas of law over that time, she’s focused primarily on family law since 1994, including:
• Divorce
• Legal Separation
• Allocation of parental responsibilities (formerly known as “child custody”)
• Parenting Time (formerly known as “visitation”)
• Child Support
• Maintenance (spousal support)
• Division of Property and Debt
• Modification of:
Parental responsibilities
Parenting time
Child support
• Enforcement of orders, including contempt citations
• Relocation of children to another state or area with one parent
• Domestic Violence
• Adoption
Diana works toward resolution of all issues without litigation in court in order to save the client distress, time, legal fees, and the uncertainty of a third person (the judge) deciding the important issues that are best known and understood by the parties. However, if resolution is not possible, she’s prepared to go to court to present the best case possible within the confines of professional ethics and the client’s wishes.
Diana spent a year in Cambodia as an advisor to its National Assembly (parliament) in 1996. That experience has led to her representation of several Cambodians living in the Denver area. She also represents others who speak English as a second language, taking the time to assist their understanding of the process, negotiations, and needs of their particular case.
Diana’s retainer and hourly rates are reasonable, but she’s still willing to consider adjustments and payment arrangements depending on individual circumstances and Diana’s caseload at the time.
Diana is a solo practitioner who does all work on a client’s case herself without handing it off to an associate, paralegal, or staff. Diana’s personal attention includes an initial ½ hour phone consultation without charge.
