Rae E. Griffin joined the Law Offices of David D. Briller Co., L.P.A. in 1986. Ms. Griffin earned a B.A. from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania summa cum laude in 1981 and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law in 1984.
Ms. Griffin practices in the areas of Domestic Relations, including but not limited to divorce, dissolution, child support, paternity establishment, modification of prior orders, civil protection and anti-stalking protection orders. She also practices in the areas of Probate law, Juvenile law and General Civil Litigation.
She has been a speaker on the topic of domestic relations law, and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1984. Ms. Griffin is also a member of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Ms. Griffin is a member of the Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Medina County and Ohio State Bar Associations as well as the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Carol Dillon Horvath
Carol Dillon Horvath joined the Law Offices in 1994, having previously practiced law as a sole practitioner. Ms. Horvath earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She was admitted to the practice of law on November 6, 1981.
Ms. Horvath has been a practicing attorney for over 24 years in the State of Ohio. She is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Ms. Horvath practices in the areas of Civil Law including Real Estate law, Family law, Personal and Bodily Injury law, and Probate law. Ms. Horvath has been a family law mediator since 1992.
Erin Adams Armstrong
Erin Adams Armstrong joined The Law Offices of David D. Briller Co., L.P.A. in August 2003, having previously practiced law as a sole practitioner and as a Staff Attorney in the Family Law Unit of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. Ms. Armstrong obtained her B.A. in 1994 from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. from the Moritz College of Law of The Ohio State University in 1997. Ms. Armstrong focuses her practice in the area of Domestic Relations, including but not limited to divorce, dissolution, child support, paternity establishment, modification of prior orders, civil protection and anti-stalking protection orders. Ms. Armstrong also practices in the area of criminal defense and estate planning.
Ms. Armstrong has presented programs to the Cuyahoga County Community College Displaced Homemakers Class, the Cleveland Municipal School District Office of Family and Community Engagement and Family Life Education Father’s Matter program, the Cleveland Bar Association People's Law School, the Cleveland Bar Association Practice and Procedure Clinic, and National Business Institute Continuing Legal Education Seminar "Divorce in Ohio from Start to Finish."
Ms. Armstrong is a member of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the International Women's Insolvency Restructuring Confederation.
