I graduated from Boston University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. I was awarded my Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 1976. I became a member of the Massachusetts and Florida Bars in 1977. I am also became a member of the District of Massachusetts federal bar in 1977. I worked for several years for various law firms in Massachusetts, one of which concentrated in divorce and family where I worked for the spouse of a Probate & Family Court judge. I started my own practice in Boston in 1982 and I have been on my own ever since.

I am a member of the family sections of both the Boston Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association. I am also a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association.

I have extensive experience in divorce and family law, having practiced in this area throughout the 31 years I have been in practice. In recent years, I have limited my practice to divorce and family law litigation.
