Recently, my daughter was doing research for a school paper. She decided to write about the effects of divorce on children. In helping her find information on the net, I saw something that I did not agree with and would like to help change. I read statistics about the effects on children who come from "fatherless" homes. The stats showed higher rates of teen suicide, pregnancy and other forms of delinquency.

First of all, I am only a representative of a certain type of parent with a certain set of circumstances; however, seeing as healthy divorce is the focus of my life's passion, coupled with my education and work experience, I am qualified to speak on this issue.
