About Us – Donna Marki, Attorney at Law

I am a wife, a mother, and a businesswoman. Each of these roles brings me great joy. Practicing law as a New Jersey divorce lawyer just adds to my fulfillment. Being able to help people get through a very difficult and often complicated process in their lives is my driving motivation. Having years of experience in both life and law, I can assure you we will do our best to get the job done, whether you need a child custody lawyer or an alimony attorney.

After graduating with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in accounting, I went on to Temple University School of Law and then pursued a career in law. My career started in Philadelphia at Astor, Weiss and Newman.

After a number of years, I followed my husband back to New Jersey and opened up my own practice, specializing in Family Law. I am a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section. I have experience in all aspects of family law, from simple to complex, from settlements to trials. I am admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

I am a proud member of the Board of Trustees for Fairleigh Dickinson University and have served since 1996, chairing the Educational Affairs Committee and serving on both the Advancement Committee and the Executive Committee. I have also served on the FDU Alumni Board of Governors.

Being able to use my real estate background in serving my township, I was a member of the Bedminster Board of Adjustment for over 8 years, handling many difficult cases, including a very contentious cell tower case. Also, I have served on many other professional and charitable boards in New Jersey. 

Having been an avid equestrian for many years, I can also understand and handle most equine-related matters.
