Since 1988, I have seen how destructive divorce can be for both individuals and families. My goal as a mediator is to minimize conflict and help people who are divorcing come to a fair and quick resolution. In my mediation practice, the welfare of children involved is paramount and divorce is humanized. Additionally, I bring financial training to my practice. Professional advice is available then in an area critical for families and individuals and which often proves to be contentious.
The attorneys I work with create a seamless transition through each of the stages of divorce. They can file your divorce for you, or you may do it yourself. At the end of mediation, they will prepare necessary documentation and then file your finalized agreement. They also will provide any legal advice you feel you need.
Understanding people and their struggles has made me a skilled divorce mediator. Working with custody and visitation issues, my counseling background is extremely valuable. In working with division of assets, my CFDP® training allows me to see clearly all of the financial issues involved and help couples toward a resolution. I have recently completed a doctorate in mediation and counseling which has sharpened my skills to successfully mediate your divorce.
