He was licensed to practice in North Carolina in 1973, following graduation from the University of Virginia School of Law. In 1969, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mission Statement

I have been a forceful advocate for mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, and children in the District Courts of North Carolina since September, 1973. I have witnessed the harmful and lasting effects of litigation on the participants’ psyche and pocketbook. There is a better way; a way that reduces conflict, unlike litigators who heighten it. I have observed first hand the petty bickering many litigators promote until their clients exhaust their financial resources.

You do not have to feel powerless facing the trauma of separation and/or divorce. You do not have to exhaust your savings and retirement accounts (or that of your parents) to settle all matters stemming from that separation and/or divorce. I am a certified Family Financial Mediator and I can meet with you and your spouse or partner productively to resolve all issues you have, including child custody, child support, alimony, and property division. The costs of this would be an administrative fee of $150.00 and an hourly rate of $150.00, or $75.00 per person per hour.
