The Law and Mediation Office of Joy S. Rosenthal will help you resolve family issues in a fair and respectful manner. We are a small, personalized law firm dedicated to providing excellent legal representation and counseling. We specialize in representing same-sex couples and other non-traditional families. • Mediation and collaborative law to solve family issues, including separation, divorce, custody, visitation, parent/teen, and estate matters.
• Parenting – child custody, visitation, foster care, guardianship, name changes. 
• Adoptions – second and step parent adoptions, adoption of children from foster care, and independent adoptions. We also represent birth mothers who wish to give up their children for adoption.
• Wills, trusts & probate – including wills, living wills, health care proxies, special needs trusts for adult disabled children and other life planning documents. We will also handle your probate and administration needs.

About Joy: 

Joy S. Rosenthal, Esq. has been practicing law since 1997, representing children, youth, and parents in all types of family-based cases. She also represents clients in probate, administration and guardianship proceedings. Joy is an experienced, certified mediator who works in private practice and in the NYC Family Courts. She is also a collaborative attorney with extensive interdisciplinary experience. Joy is committed to providing you with intelligent, compassionate representation. She works hard and efficiently for you, and is committed to maximizing your financial and time resources.
