Our Firm
Kelly & Cherry, PLLC is a North Dallas firm practicing in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy and Criminal Law. We handle cases in Dallas, Collin, Denton and the surrounding counties.
We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
While the primary goal of our firm is to provide the client with quality, ethical, aggressive representation, we strive to meet the individual needs of each client in a cost-efficient manner. We offer free 1 hour initial consultations. Some evening and weekend appointments are available.
Our Attorneys
Bentley C. Kelly, III has over twenty years of experience and is licensed to practice in Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Kelly earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Houston in 1974 and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1977.
Kristen Z. Cherry is licensed to practice in Texas and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Ms. Cherry earned her B.A. in history from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1998 and her J.D. (with honors) from the University of Tulsa in 2002. Ms. Cherry is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Cherry is also the author of "Marriage and Divorce Law in Pakistan and Iran: The Problem of Recognition," 9 TULSA J. COMP. & INT'L L. 319 (2001).
