Adoption · Divorce · Dissolution · Custody
If your family is in transition, whether due to a divorce or other family law dispute, the lawyer you choose can have an effect on your life for years to come. If you work with an attorney who views your legal matter only as an adversary, you can spend years at odds with your child's other parent, often hurting your child more than your ex-spouse. If, on the other hand, you work with an attorney who focuses on ways of amicably resolving your differences, everyone stands to benefit, especially your children.
At our office in Delaware, we recognize the need to find amicable solutions to your family law matters. We see negotiation, mediation, and a collaborative approach as alternatives to the emotional and financial costs of divorce litigation. We also understand that sometimes our clients cannot avoid going to court. If trial is inevitable, we will advocate aggressively on behalf of our clients. Our dedication to our clients and thorough preparation of their cases have ended in positive results for many individuals throughout Ohio. Contact us to schedule your confidential consultation.
Because we care about families...
- We maintain an affordable fee schedule, so that sound family law representation can be available to the average working person
- We give each and every case a high level of personal attention, representing clients with compassion and sensitivity
- We work with families in conflict to find creative solutions that focus on the best interests of the children
In our divorce practice, we work with clients at all stages of a marital breakup, from the initial filing to post-judgment requests for modification. We always encourage alternative means of dispute resolution, looking for ways to resolve disputes outside of the courtroom. When alternative means are not in the best interests of our clients, we will aggressively fight for our client in court.
We will also handle a dissolution of marriage in situations where the parties have agreed on all issues and have put together an acceptable shared parenting agreement. We counsel clients regarding all types of family law disputes, from child custody and visitation to support and property distribution.
For an attorney who will help you work to resolve your family law disagreements, contact our office to arrange a confidential consultation to discuss your family law matter. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

"My role as an attorney is to help my clients achieve their desired goals. Generally clients come to attorneys with the hopes of obtaining a specific desired result. While attorneys cannot control the outcome of particular legal matters, especially litigation, I believe that two factors are critical in helping my clients achieve their goals and desired results. The first is to obtain a clear understanding of my clients' objectives in resolving their legal matters. To accomplish this, I take the time to listen to my clients and I also provide detailed steps and procedures so that my clients and I can work together in reaching their objectives. The second most critical factor is to provide quality legal services. Education, legal training, and experience are all critical in meeting this objective. I have eighteen years of experience in handling family law matters and litigation matters. My background in working with one of the largest firms in Ohio, being retained by the State of Ohio, and being appointed as a guardian ad litem by various courts has given me the skills to provide the highest quality legal work. I look forward to meeting with you to understand your legal objective, to craft a plan to achieve that objective, and to work as a team to accomplish that objective."
