Jim Silvania is Ohio’s most experienced Private Investigator with over 40 years of investigative experience: 22 years as Chief Investigator for the Law Firm of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur (270 attorneys); 17 years with the Columbus Police Department, 13 of those years as a Detective in the Intelligence Bureau investigating organized crime throughout Ohio; 20 years as an assistant professor/dean at the community college level; and 9 years as the Executive Director and lobbyist for the Ohio Association of Security & Investigation Services. In fact, Jim wrote the book on Private Investigating in Ohio: How to Become a PI in Ohio and Other States.
He is a long-time member of the National Association of Legal Investigators, the Ohio Association of Security and Investigative Services, and is a Board Certified Legal Investigator & Fraud Examiner.
