Florida State Supreme Court Certified Mediator since 1997

Specializing in complete divorces, with or without attorneys, and in "Best interest of the child" divorces. There is no retainer, and my goal is to lessen the stress of the divorce, so that both parties can move on with their lives, and lessen the cost and time delay. Your role as husband and wife will be ending, but your role as parents will not and we will cover all issues associated with maintaining good communication with your children in mind.

We do complete divorces as well as modifications of support and custody. My office is across the street from the Courthouse in Sanford.

Mediation is a legal process.

The result is a legal agreement which spells out the terms of a contract between two parties. The role of the impartial and neutral MEDIATOR is to facilitate the resolution of a dispute. It is an informal and non-adversarial meeting. The MEDIATOR guides the parties toward resolving problems and disagreements. Relevant information is presented which may include budgets, business records, tax returns, property valuations, and children’s individual needs.

Do I Need a Lawyer??

You are welcome to bring your lawyer, although many people do not. Parties also have the option during or at the conclusion of the mediation to consult with specialists, i.e. your lawyer, stockbroker, CPA, mortgage company, etc. before the final agreement is filed in the court. Follow-up consultations are encouraged if questions arise during the mediation session.
