Maury D. Beaulier practices in the areas of family law, criminal law, immigration law, and commercial litigation. He is a sought after speaker regarding family law topics, having appeared on the CBS broadcast Eye on America with Dan Rather and the Rutherford Show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has also been recognized by the International Who's Who of Professionals (1996), Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine (February, 1999) and more recently featured in Lawyers Weekly USA (March, 2000).
Over the past twelve years, Maury D. Beaulier has developed a large and active family law practice which includes mediation and collaborative law. Mr. Beaulier has been described by his clients as "skilled", "aggressive" and "dedicated" to resolving complex and emotionally charged disputes.
As a business attorney, Mr. Beaulier is actively involved with businesses engaged in electronic commerce over the internet. A former co-instructor of a college level course, "Business and the Legal Environment", he serves on multiple Boards of Directors and as legal advisor for incubator groups interested in developing their own internet presence.
As a litigator, Maury has broken new ground representing farmers in contract disputes related to the transmission of disease (Johne's disease) in bovine herds. These cases have resulted in large judgments that have helped to save several family farms.
Mr. Beaulier is licensed to practice law in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as the Federal Courts in Minnesota and the Western District of Wisconsin. Mr. Beaulier is also a member of Minnesota's Collaborative Law Institute helping to develop new procedures in family law case. As a volunteers for the Hennepin County Law Access Project and the Ramsey County Legal Clinic, Mr. Beaulier provides help to pro se litigants in Court and has also participated in the Hennepin County Misdemeanor Defense Panel.
Mr. Beaulier obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration.
