Michelle C. Thomas has extensive experience in civil litigation, primarily in the area of complex divorce and family law, with a keen eye toward the equitable distribution of assets, business valuation, and property re-tracing. Ms. Thomas also has experience defending corporate clients against claims of employment discrimination, as well as providing employment counseling to diverse businesses.
In addition to maintaining her burgeoning practice, Ms. Thomas remains dedicated to community affairs. She is currently the President of the Greater Washington Area Chapter, Women Lawyers' Division, National Bar Association and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. Thomas is a native of New York, and a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A.) and The George Washington University Law School (J.D.).
