Marshall W. Waller has been in the active practice of law for more than twenty years. Marshall W. Waller is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of the State of California. He is a published author in the field of family law. He has taught family law and has written a family law textbook and a book entitled, Divorce Secrets Revealed for the general public. Marshall Waller carries the highest rating available from the premier attorney-rating system in the nation, Martindale-Hubble: AV. Marshall W. Waller graduated with Highest Honors from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) with a B.A. in Political Science. While at Cal Poly, he was selected for membership in the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest and largest collegiate honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education.

Mr. Waller earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, California. While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Waller received academic recognition for his placement in the class standing and was also the recipient of the American Jurisprudence award for excellence in Corporations. After graduating from Loyola Law School, Mr. Waller continued his education in the field of Taxation at the University of San Diego.

In 1981, Mr. Waller was admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California, the United States Federal Court, and the Court of Appeals, and, in 1982, the United States Tax Court and Court of Claims. Mr. Waller has been in private practice since 1981. He has a personal AV rating from the nation's premier attorney rating system indicating very high to pre-eminent legal ability and very high ethical standards. Mr. Waller has gained a reputation as a dynamic and entertaining speaker and has spoken nationally and locally to trade, civic, and private organizations. He has been featured as a lawyer/spokesperson in a national television and print advertising campaign for Gateway Computers. He has also been a family law legal commentator for local television news stations. Mr. Waller has been a professor of law for over fifteen years and has written a University-level textbook in the area of California Family Law. Published by Aspen Publishing, it is currently in its fourth edition. He has also written, Divorce Secrets Revealed for the general public.

Mr. Waller serves as a volunteer mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court's Family Law division and as a volunteer Judge Pro Tempore. In addition to his busy law practice and teaching schedule, Mr. Waller is actively involved in his community. He supports the activities of Pacific Lodge Youth Services/Boy's Home and is a past member of their Board of Directors. He also participates in numerous other volunteer organizations.
