The Law Offices of Nye and Associates, Ltd.
The Law Offices of Nye and Associates, Ltd. concentrates in family law and law related to human service delivery. Our Family Law Division handles dissolution, custody, visitation, support and property matters; cases involving allegations of domestic violence, including physical and sexual abuse; guardianship and commitment of mentally impaired individuals; child protection, delinquency and dependency cases; parentage (paternity); adoption; and elder law.
Because litigation is always the last resort, we at The Law Offices of Nye & Associates, Ltd. recognize that litigation avoidance is the key. Through education, consultation, cooperation and if necessary mediation we try to assist our clients to identify how, under what circumstances, and at what cost (financial and emotional) the matters can be resolved. If a cooperative resolution is not possible and judicial intervention becomes necessary, for what ever reason, we make very attempt to get people out of a bad situation expending the least amount of emotional and financial resources.
Litigation should not be a cash cow for the attorneys, it should be the means to a fair and final resolution of the controversy.
