Rod Firoozye

Rod has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 18 years, finishing high school, undergraduate, and law school here.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in International Business from San Francisco State University. He then received his law degree from University of San Francisco, School of Law. He has also studied European law in Prague, Czech Republic.

In 1996, Rod established the Law Offices of Rod Firoozye in Palo Alto, CA. Rod has practiced family litigation since 1996, and began business litigation in 1998.

As a family law attorney, Rod has represented clients in various matters, including complex property divisions, child custody and visitation issues, child and spousal support modifications, and family law mediations. Rod is a referral attorney for the Palo Alto and Santa Clara Bar Associations and regularly serves as Judge Pro-Tem for the Santa Clara County Family Law Court. Rod regularly handles cases against many Certified Family Law Specialists.

As a business litigation attorney, Rod has represented individuals and businesses in complex business litigation cases against several publicly traded corporations, such as, Microsoft and EarthLink (See EarthLink opinion). He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyer's Association.

Rod emphasizes one-on-one interaction with clients in reaching their desired goals. Litigation can be extremely complex. He puts great emphasis on explaining the technical parts of the process in layman's terms so clients can better understand their options and make informed choices.
