South Shore Dispute Resolution represents a unique combination of mediators with distinct backgrounds. Priscilla Mahoney, LICSW, a licensed clinical social worker, and Richard W. Kearney, Esq., a practicing attorney, work together to offer a broad range of mediation services to clients in and around the South Shore. Both mediators have over 20 years of experience in their respective fields and together offer mediation for a variety of issues including divorce and separation agreements, disputes involving the administration and settlement of estates, civil disputes, and employee/employer disagreements.

Our Mediators

Priscilla Mahoney, LICSW

Priscilla is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has 24 years of experience in working with families, couples, and individuals in a variety of clinical settings. Her expertise is in addressing conflicts within families, relationship problems, personal stress, and adjustment issues.

Priscilla has over 17 years of experience as an administrator in Behavioral Health Programs in major hospitals in Massachusetts. In these positions she was responsible for conflict resolution and facilitation between agencies and individuals on a routine basis. In addition, she has worked as a volunteer mediator for the Massachusetts court system, where she facilitates cases in small claims and civil matters. Priscilla provides mediation in a private practice setting, focusing on family law matters.

Priscilla received formal training to become a Certified Mediator in Massachusetts. She has Master’s degrees in Counseling/Psychology and in Clinical Social Work from Boston College.

Richard W. Kearney, Esq.

Richard is a practicing attorney in Massachusetts with over 30 years of experience in private practice and corporate law. Richard has experience in a broad range of practice areas, including family matters, complex civil litigation, and estate planning.

Richard is currently a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Plymouth Bar Association.

Richard has experience in a variety of mediation environments, including the resolution of a Federal District Court proceeding and mediation for several Superior Court civil cases and family-related disputes.
