Randall B. Pitler

Randall B. Pitler earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Michigan State University in 1988, and earned his law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1992. Prior to entering law school, he served as a Community Development Specialist for U.S. Senator Carl Levin. Additionally, Mr. Pitler spent several years in Los Angeles working in the entertainment industry on several television shows, including Divorce Court, Power of Attorney, Biography, Intimate Portraits, and Modern Marvels.

Mr. Pitler is admitted to practice in the state courts of Michigan and in the federal U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the Family Law, Real Estate, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, and serves on the Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees of the Oakland County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Michigan Council for Family and Divorce Mediation, the Collaborative Law Institute of Michigan, and the Michigan Inter-Professional Association. Mr. Pitler volunteers as a mediator for the 48th District Small Claims Court, and participates in WXYT/WJR’s Call for Action/Ask the Lawyer programs.

Mr. Pitler resides in Huntington Woods with his wife, Lori, their daughter Madeline, and their dog and cat.
