Divorce Mediation Services

When you are considering divorce, you have choices, even in difficult economic times.

The dissolution of your marriage is not always something which you can anticipate, and it is never a happy occasion. But you still have the opportunity of reducing the emotional stress involved and making the process less expensive and less time consuming.

Divorce mediation is a process by which you and your spouse are empowered to voluntarily make rational decisions about your futures, in a private setting, with the assistance of a professional mediator. Through divorce mediation, you and your spouse can jointly reach a fair and reasonable settlement about financial matters and child custody issues.

Divorce mediation is significantly more cost effective and less stressful than divorce litigation. The final result achieved through divorce mediation, rather than by divorce litigation, is often much more acceptable because you and your spouse make the decisions which affect both of you, rather than having those decisions made by a judge who hardly knows you.
