Holt Law Firm regularly handles complex and challenging civil law cases in the state of Minnesota. At the same time, it is important to us to watch out for the needs of children and to attempt to maintain relationships between parties, especially if this involves continuing family relationships. We try to facilitate settlement if the parties are able to communicate and work together, and we do not promote fighting in order to generate additional attorney’s fees or court fees. We approach each case individually and our goal is to get each matter completed as quickly and inexpensively as possible. Susan M. Holt graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota in 1996. She completed her law school education at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she received her law degree in 1999. Susan received the “Cali Excellence For The Future Award” from William Mitchell College of Law in 1998 for receiving top honors for the highest score in Lawyering Skills class, and the “Cali Excellence For The Future Award” again in 1999 for receiving top honors for the highest score in Creditor/Debtor class. Susan currently has her own law firm in Litchfield, Minnesota and practices in a variety of areas with an emphasis in family law. Susan has taught classes in family law at the Minnesota School of Business. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, and the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce, and is also very involved with her family and her community.
