Sheila Russian, Attorney-Mediator

Sheila Russian is a court certified mediator with substantial experience. She enables her clients to make sensible, informed decisions concerning divorce, separation, custody, child support, and visitation away from court. Her practice is devoted exclusively to mediation. Since 1993, she has helped hundreds of clients resolve differences in ways that minimize disruption to people’s lives.

Mediation is a method for reaching agreements with high rates of satisfaction, because people make their own decisions. It is an informal and confidential process where people are encouraged to raise all of their concerns, including matters that people may be uncomfortable raising in court. Sheila Russian helps people at odds make decisions, so that they can move ahead with minimal disruption to family relationships.

Sheila Russian has extensive experience in domestic and civil issues. She has engaged in the private practice of mediation since 1993. In addition to family issues such as divorce, separation, custody, visitation, and property division, she has expertise in mediating senior care and elder issues, guardianship, care management for the chronically ill or disabled, family event conflicts, and business issues.
