Zerman & Mogerman, L.L.C.
Zerman & Mogerman, L.L.C. represents individual clients in the city and county of St. Louis, Missouri. The firm limits its practice exclusively to divorce law, concentrating on complex cases involving substantial assets, business interests, professional practices, contested child custody issues, and appellate practice in family law cases.
We represent individuals in dissolution of marriage proceedings, legal separations, proceedings to modify existing decrees, proceedings to enforce existing decrees, and certain paternity actions. We also handle appeals of family law cases.
The firm consists of six attorneys representing nearly seventy years of cumulative experience in these matters. We are aided in our efforts by experienced legal assistants, and other attentive support staff.
The approach of Zerman & Mogerman, L.L.C. is a simple one in every case: to do everything that can and should be done to insure our client is in the best possible position to negotiate a settlement or present a contested case to the court in a trial. This is never the simple result of good luck or good intentions. Rather, such results are only made possible by careful, diligent, and thorough attention to all facts and legal issues raised in the case, attention to the client’s concerns and objectives, and detailed knowledge of the court and the applicable law.
The dissolution of one’s marriage represents as much the unwinding of an economic partnership as it does the severing of an emotional relationship originally founded upon love, trust, and confidence. We strive to insure that our clients who are navigating through this process receive the most patient, thorough, and competent representation possible under these circumstances.
We have a written engagement agreement with every client. Our charges in most cases are hourly, at specified rates for specified individuals in our firm. We may, however, propose other fee arrangements for particular types of matters, depending upon particular circumstances. Statements are typically sent to our clients on a monthly basis.
Our firm primarily represents clients in the City and County of St. Louis, Missouri. We maintain offices in Park Place, 100 S. Brentwood Boulevard, in the City of Clayton, Missouri. The building is directly across Brentwood Boulevard from the Shaw Park Pools, at the corner of Brentwood and Carondelet. Clayton is the government center for St. Louis County, and our location affords a one-block walk to the County Courts Building. Parking for our clients and other visitors is available on the parking deck adjoining our building; the entrance is on Carondelet Avenue.
Our office is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm on Monday through Friday. Our telephone number is (314) 862-4444, and our phones are monitored by an answering service during non-business hours. The service operator is capable of contacting any attorney in our office in the event of an after-hours emergency. Our fax number is (314) 727-4440.
