I intend to start my business plan after separation agreement is completed. Is my spouse legally entitled to any assets of this business venture, even though we would have a separation agreement in place and the business was financed and initiated after separation by myself? – Scott

Scott: The well drafted Separation Agreement will provide that any assets acquired after the agreement is signed will be separate property free from claims of the other spouse.
