My wife had an affair, wants a quick divorce, and get re-married as soon as possible. She signed a very generous (for me) marriage settlement agreement. Due to her emotional problems, I'm worried that they'll breakup before they can get married - 6 month waiting period. Can she pull out of the MSA after it's been signed and submitted to the courts but before the 6 month waiting period is over? – Dan

Answer:
Dan: You can’t just pull out of an agreement. You can ask the court to set it aside as unfair but that is awfully hard to do and usually there is a provision in the agreement saying that you think it is fair.
