What terms need to be met for a Common Law Marriage in Pennsylvania?

1. there is an express agreement of the parties to assume the relationship of husband and wife; and
2. cohabitation and reputation are relevant factors in determining whether the parties have entered into a common law marriage. Living together and holding themselves out to friends, relatives and the government as a married couple is evidence that the couple is married.
