Utah Employers have various duties, including collection of child support through automatic income withholding by the Utah Office of Recovery Services and reporting of new hires to the Utah Department of Workforce Services.  Click on the link below to open an Adobe Acrobat brochure published in May, 1998 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Support Enforcement.  The brochure is 12 pages long and discusses employer responsibilities generally as they relate to child support, including new hire reporting and income withholding.
