Question:

I did not sign my judgment of divorce because I did not agree with its terms.  Prior to the entering of the judgment of divorce, I fired my attorney  due to the fact that he did not have my best interest at heart.  I appeared in pro per and told the judge that I did not agree with some of the terms in the  judgment of divorce so I had not signed the document. He did not appear to care and the judgment was entered.  I thought my signature had to be on the document before it could be entered.  If someone else signed my name without my permission, what will happen? -- Dee Dee

Answer:

Dee Dee:  The judge's signature is the only signature that is required on a judgment of divorce.  You have appeal rights if you do not agree with the terms of the judgment.
